Yerba Mate Tucanguá Tradicional (1 kg / 2.2 lb)

This yerba is the best on the market, still a unknown brand, because is mainly consumed in the region of production. As a old mate comsumer,this is best quality i found on yerba mate in the last years. The herb is cured for 2 years, this make the flavour something really special. Recommended to those who are starting and also for experienced drinkers. Is a one way ticket, be warned ?

First, the yerba: this mate is very good. It has a mild and complex taste with a lot of flavors coming through. It is not overly bitter or grassy, has a long life, and the flavor tapers off gradually. As a relatively new yerba drinker (this is the fifth brand I've tried), I found this yerba mate drinkable and delicious. Also, there was a shipping mix-up in which I originally received a different brand from the one I ordered. After a quick email to the customer service department, I was told to keep the mistakenly sent mate and that the Tucangua would be on the way. Both came exceptionally quickly, given they were shipped between continents. Also, the second shipment was full of candy (I believe as an apology), which was also delicious.
